Description:
Rockwool (mineral) products is an economical light weight thermal insulation material which is well recognized as one of the best material for thermal and insulation purpose is manufactured from a mixture of natural rocks (basalt and dolomite) melted at high temperature to form a molten matrix, which is then passed through an air stream that cools the material and forms long fibrous strands. These strands are bonded together to form slabs, blocks, blankets, pipe covers and granulates (non-bonded). The material is chemically and biologically inert and free from plant pathogens.
Applications:
Tungkin rockwool board is to process temperature control, energy conservation, condensation prevention and personnel protection for the power generating, metallurgical, oil refining and chemical industries, including plant and equipment such as exhaust flues, hot gas ducts, boilers, heat exchangers, reactors, storage tanks, furnaces, ovens, autoclaves, precipitators, stacks, air-conditioning ductwork, refrigeration equipment and kilns. It is also use for building industry suitable for walls, roofs, elevator well, flats or slightly curved surfaces for thermal, fire-resistance and sound absorption.
The rockwool slab can be laminated with aluminum foil, black tissue and other facing material upon the request of customers for particular purpose.
